The only b/w I ever shot that I wish was in color: she was looking into a sunset and the eyes were wonderful. And yes, I realize the extra chunk on the left side is distracting and unbalances the image.

Why does the image need to be "balanced"? I'd find that rather static. as it is, the repeating form of the pipes, along with the model's arms, creates a pleasing asymmetrical compositional device.
