As far as I can see from the scan there are no blown highlights or drowned shadows, so, well done with the split grade printing. And the grain is surprisingly contributive.
This is not a suitable photo to learn split grade printing from. It needs to have areas of light and shade, perhaps a landscape shot or a street scene would offer more scope.
