Great Tit

My girls and I are heading home from Scotland tomorrow after nearly 3 weeks of teaching and travel. Carl and I made this plate together today in his garage. The bird (Great Tit) and nest were donated by another Scottish photographer friend of ours. Our thanks to Carl and Liz for their great hospitality and to the many new friends we made. I love it here.

Beautiful still life, Kerik! I understand better what these plates look like after hanging out with Bill Schwab and Joe Smieglitz in the Michigan woods for a few days, and it makes me respect your work to another degree. Wow!
