Your photos are special to me. My best friend who lived in the States for many years moved back to Windermere, Cumbria. His name is Paul Rose. He worked with the British Antartic Survey Company until a few years ago. He is quite the adventurer - mountain climbing, guide etc. I am hoping to get to the Lakes District and spend some time with him hiking and climbing - before I get too old.
