windblown trees

I headed back to the car after walking a fair few miles on the moors and stummbled (quite literally!) across these trees which had been bent over by many years of strong winds.
I'd definatly like to go back to this spot and try this image again but maybe when the sun is higher in the sky.

Wonderful, I don't know if direct hard sunlight from above will do anything good for this scene. There is soft diffuse light in this one that works well and keeps some detail in the shadowy treetops... I tend to find hard light problematic photographing trees... but in the end, only you can tell by going back on another day.

I think the sun being higher would ruin this. This is quite beautiful. The only small issue is I want the highlight on the RH edge toned down. It is a little distracting.
