Its a lovely picture -- the kid's expression is all the way there --, but the condition of the grout along the tub is making me crazy and I'm not someone who generaly cares -- ask my wife. Sorry I'll go wring my hands and obsess upon something else.

Lol! I hear what you're saying John. I could greatly lighten the grout, but I'm disinclined to. I have so many shots of kids in gorgeous designer bathrooms maintained by a housekeeping staff...it's very refreshingly real for me shooting in an imperfect environment.

But, just for you, I do have shots that don't show the grout.

Grout... what grout? Actually the kids expression is so engaging that it took me a while to notice the grout.

Yes the realness of the image is great. I've been seeing that in a lot of your posts of late and it is excellent. becca, Socialites and diva are all pretty riveting -- no, . becca, Socialites are ass kicking.

Dito: that expression is priceless. Dirty grout, naked women, and I can't take my eyes of the kids face. Don't mess with it-it's beyond perfect.

Thanks very much. I appreciate the feedback! John, I've made a conscious decision to work with subjects and environments that are less polished than my typical client. It's been so nice. I am very much a tattoos-and-rock-music sort of person, and I'm having a great time photographing my own friends and environment. Stay tuned for (more) scenes from the Denver Underground: rockabillies, burlesque dancers, and Warhol historians.
