First platinum/paladium print

First platinum/paladium print

I've just returned from the alternative photography course with an excellent photographer and wonderful person, Harald Leban (Austria). We tried several alternative processes under the supervision of a real expert in this area.

The original negative was 6x6, it was enlarged via a film interpositive to 15x15 cm negative, then contact printed.

Congratulations! A very lovely image indeed...

I especially like the way that the overcoating matches the statue's texture. A very good fit. Keep up the good work!

So very nice Kate! when I view this I feel like I'm back in Prague. It reminds me of Prague.

Great photo, Kate. The alt processes are incredibly addicting aren't they?!? I started pure palladium and cyanotype printing at home after taking a workshop so if you want to start doing this at home PM me if you need any help from a fellow beginner (I've found sometimes it's easier to deal with someone who has just gone through the steps right before you as opposed to 5 years ago).
