this is an interesting image. I like the saw blade in the middle of the frame. where does one buy motion picture film? I really like the look of this film. it seems to have the subtlety of portra with more contrast.

I was a focus puller for a couple years so i just had the loader keep the "waste"(anything less than 200ft). You can get short ends from several places in hollywood or new york but aandi.com here in l.a. sells/processes it now too. They bought RGB's (former local lab) equipment. It does have a look all its own although the newer stocks are much different and have tons of latitude.
