This one. You need to see the guy's eyes. It doesn't matter that part of the puppy is cut off.

I disagree (naturally)...I think the image is a lot more transcendent and timeless without the eyes - this one seems more a snapshot to me.

Another vote for this one, I feel uncomfortable with the eyes being cut in the other one. Of course it's true that adding the eyes, adds another focal point and takes some of the concentration of the viewer of the puppy to the man, but I still think this one holds up better. In addition, this picture is not so much about the puppy alone, but about the good work this animal protection officer is doing (at least that's what I guess he is?)

Maybe that if the man in the other picture had been completely out-of-focus, it would have worked cutting the eyes...

I'm for this one as well, like to see his eyes. Do we dare ask what he is doing?
