I find that the foreground of the wet stones hold the greatest attention. The middle ground and sky lack interest even with the use of a yellow filter. Perhaps the day was dull and the sparkle necessary for a good exposure was not there.?
Thanks for commenting everyone Tex, you are most correct. It was very hazy with not a cloud in site. Was hoping the rocks would be enough to make up for the lack of any sort of interesting sky.
The foreground stones and delicate water haze is beautiful. I agree that the sky is very bright and doesn't frame the shot, but it is not easy to find attractive sky and everything on its place Maybe some burning can make it more balanced. Anyway, very interesting work.

r.
Thanks r I tried burning in the sky quite a bit and there is just nothing there. I should have adjusted my development. I just can't seem to pull anything out of the negative for the sky
Your hard work and dedication to the craft is paying dividends, very nice work! I love the shape and the dream like quality. I wouldn't be to concerned about the sky, I think it adds to the tranquility of the scene.
