This was a rocky ledge at the top of Bluff Knoll (SW West Aus' highest peak, which doesn't say much) that caught my eye. Any comments on the compostion or, indeed, anything else, would be welcomed, cheers!
Beautiful content, great perspective and distant haze. Is that fog in the valley at upper right? I would crop to just above the rounded boulder in the foreground. I think that stone conflicts with the craggy uplifted rocks. I think I would try to burn in the sky at the top edge.
Thanks - I'll give that a go. In the top right is a cloud - they started forming over the range as we started climbing but had almost burnt off by the time we got to the top (at about 9am, I think - it was last summer and my memory is dodgy) Cheers for the comments!
An unusual rock formation for such an exposed area, well captured. I would be inclined to crop a tad off the top to reduce the area of bland skye as I do not see that it can be improved in printing - other than by digital manipulation. For me, no other changes are called for.
