Classic Pan 400 rated at 1600 - stand development

Shot this at a diner. I was sitting near the window and the front surfaces you see by the cooks is brushed chrome. It gets very dark towards the back. I processed this in Rodinal 1:100 for 2 hours. 30 sec's ag at the beginning and another 30sec's at the midway point. Water stop and normal fix. As far as I can see the grain is about the same at when I rate it at 400 asa souped in D76. Might even be a bit better. The tonal range is tremendous and I did not notice any weird effects from the very long development on the negs.

Looks great. It seems that Rodinal may be the stand development developer par excellence. With this as a fallback position you'd hardly need to consider faster than 400 film.
