i don't know how EW could do so well with his close ups but I find it very very hard to do them with a 8x10. It may be the fact a 300mm lens is a telephoto in that sense, but 4x5 is so much easier. great job Jim

Michael, thanks. I enjoy doing close ups with the 8x10. I very much like the effect with this lens at F-16.
