Yellow Trillium

I found this at Okmulgee National Monument at Macon, Ga. I had to lay on my stomach to shoot it at the best angle. This is the first time I've ever seen a yellow trillium.

Cool. I found some of those in the woods north of Montreal on a trip there a couple of years ago. Didn't know what they were (until now).

It looks more like a lily - trilliums, as far as I know, have 3 petals, 3 sepals, 3 leaves. We have white and pink fawn lilies here that look alot like that - I suspect they are in the same family
