It's easy to see why the american indians thought the photographers were soul catchers. If they'd shown up with digital cameras in the first place, there'd have been no problem. This body of work is superb. Any special lens on the Deardorff? I never thought about how a red head with freckles would react with the blue sensitive emulsion.

I use a 19th century voightlander lens, I'm not sure what the formula is but it's sharp and it works for what I'm doing. I love the way it describes space...
