This photo was taken in Colorado on the east side of the Sangre De Cristo mountain range. It is a 90 mile long impressive range that jets straight out of the high plains and is very difficult to photograph because it is just straight and long. I have driven by the range many times, and I have seen other attempts at photographing it. Overall, I was not impressed with what I saw or even if I could do any better. This past summer I actually went there to photograph the range knowing how boring the results could be and how much it would cost me in travel expenses and film. I have thought long and hard about it, and to be truthful, this was one trip I was not excited about. Have at it.
