Thank you for these supportive comments Guys. The tranny shows lovely subtle bands of colour on the ridges when viewed with a loupe.
This was the day when another photographer took one look at the camera set up for this shot and said - 'Oh, that's a very old camera' as he cherished his very new DSLR on an incredibly flimsy looking tripod. Still at least he was out enjoying the fresh air and wonderful scenery at Kimmeridge.
It is another day when I was really stumped as to what to shoot, since nothing seemed to be 'working'. So I put my bag down, had a wander, a good look, sat on a rock and then had a wonder. Then I set up and shot this. Some days are like that!
