Porthleven Dawn

Looking across the harbour and across the bay down to the Lizard.

Recent trip to Cornwall when each dawn was a grey one. This is the first of two sheets of film I managed before the rain set in; each using a minute long exposure. In fact it did so half way through the second sheet.

Fall off in top corners even using the matched centre filter.

Bill

I bet it's been inspirational Bill. Saw the picture in the Times from Sennen, with a wave dwarfing the lifeboat house. Too much sail area on a 5x4, but worth venturing out with something able to stay stable.

It was blowing about a force 5-6 when this was taken, the minute exposure has flattened everything out.
