I agree with you Colin, but there were two reasons I decided to go for the back shot. First it protected her identity and secondly I felt that a true Samaritan would not want to be acknowledged for their act of kindness, so this pose reflected that. But you are right for a true "news" shot you need to have the face. I got a shot of the passed out drunk guys face as well all crunched up in the wood chips, but out of respect, and yes even passed out drunks should be respected, I elected not to post it. Although is would be a "news" type shot.

And Wayne, no she did not know the guy, she was just about to get into her truck when he staggered down the street and tripped over the curb around the garden area. Sorry to disappoint you. She was truly a nice and caring person.

well done as is .... I agree with privacy even when unappreciated or deserved .... I get little out of paparazzi shots anyway ...

from a medical point of view trying to help his airway would have been good too ...
