El Cap over the Merced River

I'm sure someone else has done this image before, but I never saw it before so I figured it was fair game. This is the same image that I also did as a platinum print that I posted a couple of months ago. Somehow, the Pt print feels better to me. I guess I've seen too many straight B&W prints from Yosemite (:

It matters little that El Capitan has been photographed a zillion times. This is yours and it is very good. I haven't seen this perspective before, so to my eyes, it is original. Very nice work.
 
bring them on everyone post your EL Caps. I could look at them all day. I'm going in the spring something I've wanted to do for 30 years and I look and dream everytime I see a photo. I do like the palatinum print better this seems a little washed out to me.

Found this one in Random Images. If we stopped ourselves from making a photograph just because we thought someone would think it unoriginal, we would be drawing with pencils instead. Nice work.
