BTW: That one pole sticking into the sky is perfect. I would have been fretting over that forever... tripod up, tripod down... I think you made a great choice. It really ties the layers together in space.

I would say it was probably late August. They had already taken the hay off the field. Calgary is such a great place. Within 100 mi's we have bald ass prairie, mountains, foothills, and badlands.

Wonderful landscape, Eric. Being in such a great area is not a guarantee for success. I think your talents make the most of it though. This really is a great landscape, a type of photography I could never master no matter how hard I try.
