Giant Sunflower

A close up of a giant sunflower my son planted in our yard. He helped with the shot as well. What is surprising is how good the Nikkor 28mm Ais lens is up close, maybe even more so than at infinity. I never really thought of it as a macro lens when I bought it. This is a full frame shot, not a crop. The 100% crops from full frames are littered with detail.
