My sweetie got me a signed copy of "Key West in Black and White" by Tom Corcoran, my favorite keys author and photographer. The book has a photograph of this building taken in 1974. It inspired me to reprint my photograph of the same building taken on a trip there in 2004. It hasn't changed much
Very well done, Dan! The toning really enhances the lighter tones. But most of all this is a very interesting photograph, one that I have looked at a lot since you posted it. I agree the timing is impeccable with the man walking into the frame.

The timing, tone and the background are great. I just love the impact of the guy and the lunch sign contrasted against the light building. Have you considered cropping it....a bit off the top and the left....maybe a tiny bit off the bottom? It might better highlight the strong elements already there.
Your prespective is good, your intent has merit, but I do not like the composition. You have simply chopped the off the right side of the building. The building cries for symmetry with its placement of windows and door. This symmetry needs to also be echoed in the composition which you did not do. Good timing will not compensate for a questionable composition.
