Nice picture, but somehow this one just does not work for me. Something seems to be missing. Maybe it is that you are too close, or that the ice is distracting from those wispy falls. IDK.

Sorry. I don't like to make negative comments here, but it is so 'almost there' and almost 'something special' that I had to comment.

Yep, I went back to the thumbnail and gazed for a while and it looked much better because, I guess, the chunck of ice is not so prominent. I think cropping would help.

Bill, I like this image. Maybe Ron is at odds with it because it is your post number 666! I have a very similar image from the Owens Valley workshop in October of the Whitney Portal falls. I was shooting with Bill Theis and I had the two of you confused. We were both in the same spot as you. When were you there? I need to develop my negs and post my version. Very nice glow to this.
