this is my favorite vacuum tube trying to fit in.

learning to control the jamin-darlot a bit more.. shen-hao 4x5, 50Ws of speedotron through chimera softbox. black foam core to the left. grey paper as background.

Very nice composition, and technically beautiful. Make a big print and hang it on the wall - this is a real keeper!
 
I have to say, I keep coming back to this and the "Jamin Darlot Test" shot. The most descriptive word I can think of is "interesting." Are type 54 print one-offs or do you get a neg like with type 55? I feel silly blubbering about these, and I can't put my finger on what it is but I find both of these shots captivating. I'd love a print of either!
 
justin - polaroid 54 gives you a single print and you're done. i just recreated this scene to shoot this onto film (ilford delta 100) so i can make prints. here's a snapshot of the finished print in a binder:

its printed onto ilford multigrade glossy fiber, 8"x10".
