Perhaps not the most inspiring image but significant for me as it was from the first four sheets of film I shot when I first went out with my home made 5" x 4" camera which I built about three years ago.
Despite knowing next to nothing about field camera movements, I think I got the right amount of front tilt on this one and the focus seems good. Obviously the computer monitor does not do it justice but looking at the print, there is plenty of fine detail in both the foreground foliage and the buildings in the distance.
I am only posting this now as I finally made a contact print of it which I am pleased with after 're-discovering' the negative in my darkroom.
The camera in question is non-folding and weighs too much. A lighter, folding version is now being built.
