A very interesting shadow line on the front of the building. Nice overall tonality.
I would have burned the white pavement area in a bit - I feel that it wants to pull my eye, when it should stay on the building, and how it sits in the frame. I enjoy the aged feel of the subject conveyed by the sag of the iron gate.
Now posting from where we are and when you have, I guess you have not shovelled your driveway. All the printing mojo that I thought I would have last night was sucked out of me by the ache that followed clearing the drive the old fashioned way.
Wasn't that a storm? This print was from a negative I made March 2006 and near the end of my dependence on labs for black and white development. In retrospect I should have burned in the pavement but got lazy. I will with the next version of this print, I figure an extra two seconds will do the trick.
