Though fallen after perhaps a thousand years or so, I think this bristlecone pine still has something to say.

Taken on an outing during the recent Owens Valley workshop organized by Per Volquartz.

Beautiful color work! Very suiting how the shape of the tree is almost echoed in the clouds. Very well done!

Wonderful photograph! The Velvia color seems to be right on the mark, and your composition of the image is excellent. And, needless to say, the quality of the drum scan is extraordinary - absolutely crisp.
