Wonderful photograph! The Velvia color seems to be right on the mark, and your composition of the image is excellent. And, needless to say, the quality of the drum scan is extraordinary - absolutely crisp.

Thanks all! Indeed the fallen tree did seem very figure-like and emotive to me. I was very fortunate to get clouds that connected in this way, during the few hours we were there.
