This is painterly but also authentic in a way that only a photograph can be, perhaps because of the sense of dimension and the vivid but credible colouring. I agree with everyone else, it's superb and admirably creative. Daniel is right, it is friggin' beautiful.

...however, I curse you for getting me interested in yet another a vanishing product! Well one positive way to look at this is that the value of this shot has just gone way up, now that the process is gone.
