Lith print, Crow Davis Street Beach

Lith print, Crow Davis Street Beach

I often take a walk at lunch with my camera, especially if the weather is interesting. A couple of weeks ago, we had heavy fog so I took my trusty Olympus XA (don't leave home without it) and shot nearly a whole roll. I am fairly new at lith printing but I'm finding it is my new obsession.

Thi is great. Excellent image for this process and you achieved beautiful softness and colors with your choice of pape and developer.

Thanks Vic....I'm finding the aesthetic options really help me out for the type of work I like to do. I have a gold toned version of the same print and it has a very different blue-gray feel.

Hey Mark-I know what you mean- I 'ruined' a very soft, color-laden lith image on Polywarmtone by selenium toning it. Stripped/bleached away all of the color and intensified the shadows to no small degree. Might work in some cirmcumstances but I wasn't too happy.
