The Gunman

Im posting this image because its from an event in my youth I cant remember too much of. Its one I'm kind of glad I don't remember and one which I hope I'm never exposed to again. Guns make me nervous, I don't like guns. I was 17 and knew an older gay man who was a little rebellious, he was 28 and he took me to this house where lots of other interesting characters had gathered.
There was a lot of alcohol, drugs and guns. This was my first exposure to guns. The playful childlike reckless behavior of this man and his firearm is something thats always lingered as a semi memory in my mind. I remember i fled the party and my friends came and found me . I was walking for ages to find a landmark to learn where i was. I was glad to be out of there.

great image. i love the grain. the glasses add a documentary look.

looks to me to have no magazine and is not cocked. it could be a S&W which do not fire without the mag.

anyhow a scary situation to be in. always good to run away when guns come into play.

someday iw ill share my NZ shotgun story......

It looks like a Browning Hi-Power which has double action and will fire with the mag out. So, if there's a round in the pipe, a squeeze on the trigger will result in a loud bang...

Haha, awesome. I have a few similar near death experiences from my youth so this resonates (no guns though).
