I should have provided more information for the guitar buffs. I guess you found out it's a Maton Starline probably from the '60's by the look of it. Maton is a fine Australian company and my next acoustic will definitely be a Maton. I currently play a Takamine acoustic and a lovely black Les Paul Standard.
Here is a link to the Maton site which says factory tours are free and cameras ARE allowed. What more could you ask for? Also a nice story about the 60th anniversary re-issue of the Starline (including the sad but true frog joke!)
