Excellent! I wish I had the time to learn this process. Still trying to get the silver process down...I have a small collection of ambrotypes and I like the look.

That is stunning - love the way her fingers interact with the plate coating - spooky!

I am at a loss for words, these images have really moved me, my thanks again for sharing them!!!!!!!

These ambrotypes are all beautiful, I dont have a favorite but I do love braids so I posted here. Makes me very glad that I just discovered I own some plate holders. How the heck did you get your subjects to hold still for 8 seconds??
