Timmy and barrowed dog

The pier in Madisonville brings all walks of life. Som come to fish, some to relax, others come for privacy. Whatever the reasons the have they all find this place when the need it.

Timmy was recently parolled, served 14 months on a possesion charge, and lost his family land while he was locked up.

The morning I met him he was drunk. It was his day off and he barrowed his friends dog to come to the pier for some quiet.

He told me all of this and more, returned to his truck to put his 40 oz down and I took this picture.

From my new series on the pier.

All people are important. Getting to know them, knowing how they ended up where they are in life seems important too. I love how you interact with this person for a while, get a snippet of his life and then gone again. Very interesting photography.

Interesting shot and even more interesting story to accompany it. All sorts of hands are dealt in the game of life.
