Thank you everybody for the kind words. Regarding suggestions to use a 10x neutral density filter...just remember reciprocity. In this instance I used Tri-X 320 and took a incident meter reading....which called for a 1 minute exposure @ f/22. I rate my Tri-X @ 250 when using fa-1027. Because of reciprocity I took an exposure for 3 minutes and another at 5 minutes.... and repeated these exposures for the entire roll of film. Since the exposures are long you don't know what kind of effects the clouds are going to have so I normally take quite a few shots of the same scene to get one decent one... and also to account for the scratches and other goof up's I seem to be plagued with when processing film.
