Now this is ocean action. I prefer this to the other shot. Both have ocean as the main subject but it's "more alive" here

There is very vivid dynamism here. I think, however, we are sometimes slaves to the aspect ratio of our formats, and feel obligated to print everything on the negative. I would consider moving the edges around until you've isolated the core of the scene which I think is diluted a bit here by including too much.

The rocks, the movement of the waves, really works for me. I would like to see more of that horizon in the background, maybe burn in somewhat, or just crop it out maybe.... nice image.

I like this shot and one of the good things about it is there are possibly other nice compositions within the overall photograph, as John mentioned earlier. So this is what the Marquette area looks like without ice! :smile:

Wow, What a shot. That one's for the wall. Fred Picker would be especially proud of the water rendition. No "Cotton Candy" water here-It's cold and it's wet.
 
Marc, Ice is still a little ways off. Thanks everyone. I do think I will crop this a bit.
