Thank you, folks. My oldest boy just started on the trumpet. It's so big relative to him that he has a hard time holding it up for more than a minute. On this early fall afternoon, he was practicing carols for the upcoming winter concert, which must have been kind of disconcerting for the neighbors.

Vic, that peeling old house in the background is another one of those projects that once started never seem to end. I've left the ladder and sawhorses out there just to keep up the appearance of work.

Thanks again for looking. My son even likes it.
