No manipulation here! I have tried to clear up the 4th bow since the scanner didn´t catch it very good.
Taken from the porch at my fishingcabin in north Sweden. Nearly took the boat to see if there really is a pot of gold or in this case two pots. Never seen this fenomenon before and would really like an explanation. Told it´s rather common but no one knows why.

Oooooooooooo, aaahhhhhhhh. Spectacular! I have never seen a rainbow actually touch down like that.

Maybe Thor had a few more rainbow bridges built leading to Valhalla...

WOW!
This is a great shot. It's a keeper...

Ain't great to, every once in a while, be in the right place at the right time???

The reason for the second set of rainbows is that the are formed form the reflected sunlight from the water. Rainbows are always formed in pairs, it's just the the top one is sometimes very pale, and the is a darker band between the bows the name of which escapes me at the moment. This is a fantastic photograph!!!!!

beautiful image. here is the power of film photography: suspension of disbelief. it's so much harder to get someone to believe that what you see is a representation of reality in this digital age...

smudge has it right. The bows reflected from the water are at different angles than the main bows.

I'm sure you must have felt in a hurry, but your photo shows great composition. Very nice.
