It is a classic portrait, with strong modeling and nice catchlights that animate his eyes. I don't understand the title though. Why "bad news"?

Jovo, thank you for the opinion - I just see some trace of previous worry in model's eyes, that's why I named it as "Bad news". Maybe

Great old fashioned portrait and the "roundness" from that lens is lovely, I am very jealous!

The old glass can not be outcompeted in this roundness - and the perfectly round apertures of the Compur shutter apparently contribute, too My old Sonnar is quite shabby-looking, but this does not affect the image at all, to much of my pleasure
