Popolopen View

Another from Sunday morning, September 23rd. This was the last frame on the roll. I was walking back to my car from the Bear Mountain Bridge and had just begun to cross the Popolopen River bridge when I saw this, and stopped dead. I decided it was worth setting up for. The view is of the mouth of the Popolopen River as it meets the Hudson River looking east.

Near the Bear Mountain Bridge, NY

The light is really stunning, definently worth setting up for. I'd love to see a print!

Very lovely composition. The interplay of the elements in the scene is interesting and the parts fit together so nicely. I'm glad you took the opportunity to make the photograph and would love to see how you print it.

All the best,
Daniel

What amazing light! I really like the spiral like composition too. Very well seen! I would love to see a print of this some time.
