This is quite nice. Too bad that it needs this larger size to be appreciated. The small thumbnail might not be enough to entice people to view it. This is definitely worth a few moments to enjoy. Beautiful.

Thanks muchly. Wish you were both there too! It is your kind of country. Robert, yes quite close to Cromwell. If coming from Arrowtown through the Kawarau Gorge you turn off to Bannockburn. There's another turn off to the Nevis Saddle which takes you onto NZ's altitude highest road. From the top it's quite a short hike. But shhhhhh don't tell anyone.

I've been through Cromwell a couple of towns, I love the area. I'll have to remember this for the next trip. I have a close friend that works in Alexandra, so I always have a reason to go back.
