I was doing some scanning last Sunday (35mm), and thought I'd share an image. This one is from Makapuu Beach park one morning last year.

Lovely light on the incoming wave. Looks like you were being brave with such a w/a lens on.

Definitely motivates me to get over to your wonderful Islands.
 
What does it for me on this one is the purple-turning-yellow cloud that seems like it's heading into the sunset. I also like how the right hand side of the image acts as negative space to give room to that (as Baxter said) wonderful incoming wave and the light on it.
You and a couple of others are the reason I don't give up on one day trying color photography for real.

I'm not normally a color photo fan but this one is exquisite, love it.
