In late May, I got up very early and went into town. There is nothing of particular visual appeal about Monroe except for the pond that is about a mile and a half in circumference which is bordered by a path. It is much used and enjoyed for walking and running and the view ain't too bad either. I pointed the camera nearly straight down and lingered on this. I just made a print today, about three months after the fact.

I think it's cool (pun intended) and fact i like it a lot..I would gain from coming to terms with what you think and feel about this image... we do seem to share the affection with the mamiya (c220, c330),square, 135mm, and delta 100...

Lovely delicate tones. Those crisp mornings sure are nice! Well done.

Thank you, guys, for your comments. The print of this is extremely vivid...a bit more contrast than this scan, and I really like it. There actually is some order in this chaos which is why the edges are where they are, but it's an obscure order to say the least. Perhaps it will find its' way into a series, but for now it's an orphan image with no buddies to hang with. Poor fella!

BTW, Christopher Burkett, whose work I love, does this kind of thing quite often, i.e. a photograph that has no particular COI, but works as what it is...an immersion into a subject wherein the COI is the chaotic mass itself.
