Just Relaxing

You've captured a very nice sculptural form, and used the natural light beautifully. I especially like that you included the model's freckles, as it makes her more human. I find the lingerie distracting though - it takes what would have been a classic nude form and turns it into a glamour shot. It really breaks the form, and it also breaks the nice relatively high-key tonality.

Also, the lingerie is too formal for the title- if the model is 'just relaxing', I can't see her wearing something like that to relax in.

I agree with Scott except for the lingerie. I believe it adds an interesting compositional element via line and tonality. I also believe it works with the relaxed pose and freckles by adding to the real world humanity of the shot. I can imagine her getting ready for some event, taking a break on the bed... maybe waiting for her turn at the mirror. Seems almost slice of life in a way. Enjoyed the image, best. Shawn
