I love the use of empty spaces in a lot of your portraits. Very nice. I recently lost all my Hassy gear but building a new one. Can't wait to get an 80mm. I really like the 80mm perspective. What medium format has done to me, is make use of more normal perspective. I use my 50mm a lot more with my 35mm gear than my 15 year favorite of 35mm lens.
Hi!
He is fantastic child but he really hates to be photographed. Guys, what I have to do and how much I have to talk to him, to be able to take one shot. Uff..... My God..... Well, cooperation with a model it's a part of this job Regards
That's what makes portraits with normal or semi wide angle lenses so much better. I really don't like long ass lenses and sniffing a picture out of someone. I'd rather hear a story like the one above, adds so much more to the photo. It just gives it an extra dimension. So much more intimate.
I think the depth of field here so perfect it is eerie. And great bokeh! Must be the xenotar. Great picture, as are all of your others. Your use of light is very admirable.
Piotr, I love looking at your wonderful collection of images. Thank you very much for sharing! Your connection with your subjects (no matter how stubborn ) and your surrounds are what makes you a true artist.
Kind regards, Nicole
