Thanks for all the comments. It is a place to behold. There was a lot of smoke and haze in the air. To me the view from the top of steptoe butte loses the largeness of the hills till you see the little bitty buildings to get a size reference. I'm surprized that they came out as well as they did. I put a monopod brace on the front standard and held a golf umbrella to block the 20mph wind. I only had a packard shutter.

Was the film fogged or is that lens flare that is mostly seen in the bottom right corner?

No fog, this is a view of harvested wheat fields. The 81ef filter warmed it up quite a bit.
