Elle 6b

This will probably sound bad but from the thumbnail I thought this was a photogram of a condom (!) I'd like a lot less underlying light blue going on in this picture, higher contrast, less fog(?) of the paper. There's a lot of detail lost in the face area from this being low contrast.

I find this one interesting. The cyanotytpe gives the background a feeling of her walking out of a mist. Coupled with the cape and hood it made me think about a narrow London alley in the fog and suddenly there she is.

I'm really having trouble trying to "reason out" why I like this one as much as I do.
Something about the assertiveness and strength that I recognize from the model's attitude - her confidence in herself - and an air of mystery.
One thing is certain - if I were to encounter this work on the wall of a gallery, it would stop me dead in my tracks. I find myself INVOLVED in the atmosphere suggested in this work - and I WANT to be involved.

@Akki, I don't mind the possible technical flaws this print might have, but it is a great image! I have similar feelings as Ed about this image. So much mistery.
