I took this shot on our recent hiking trip in the Vanoise National Park in the French Alps. I took my Nikon FM2n with a 25-50 zoom and polariser and loaded it with Rollei IR400 film that I could use for both IR and normal (as here) exposures. For most of my landscape work I generally use my Mamiya 7II or Toyo 45A cameras and I find composing 35mm difficult. When I reviewed this image I found that I'd caught two nice images on one frame! This is the righthand crop and the lefthand crop is also quite interesting. It's interesting how one's brain works despite what the eye sees through the viewfinder!
