Expired Light

Very, very nice. This "monochrome"works.

Polaroid is one of the few materials that actually remains useful with age, in the right hands. The selective focus seems to work perfectly with the color to give a sort of dream quality. I like how the lamp on the right sort of fades into the background. Enough there to hold that side of the photo together becomes an "echo" of the other two lamps.

It looks like some expired film artifacts in the upper right corner, but you must have been living right for this one, because those "dots" really add to the other-worldliness of this shot. I confess that I am pretty much a B&W kinda girl, but this is really nice. Makes me think of War of the Worlds. Positioning of your 'subjects' is perfect.
