Apologies to J D Callow

Apologies to J D Callow

Sorry JD I will get to your hair next! Needed to get up to speed to handle a real hair do such as yours with a wannabe!

Family friend, taken at high noon which left his eyes empty. Or maybe the fact that he had been up about a half an hour had something to do with that.

550XXL!! 20x24!! having your picture made right after waking up?? Cool Monty - love the color you got with this - did you use some LiPd?

Nice work, man! I'll bet this is just stunning in person. The color looks great on my monitor as well. I think a lack of a catch light in the eyes works very well with this portrait. Best. Shawn

he loks like a relation. At 20 x 24 it must really be impressive. T 600pxils it looks great and I like the clint eastwood effect of the eyes.

Holy smokes. I still have a hard time imagining handling a 20x24 camera, it is difficult to fathom that such a beast even exists. The neg is larger than any print I ever enlarged. Wow.
With that said, I just need to comment on the quality of the shot, regardless of format. I love the facial expression, and the hair looks just right. The Eastwood connection is unmistakable.
You truly are one of my heroes, Monty.
- Thomas
